LIDSING ROAD,

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2)

Kent County Council gives notice that Road, Boxley will be closed to through traffic, on 8th June 2021 for up to 3 nights.

The road will be closed between Harp Farm Road and Pilgrims Way.

The alternative route for Southbound traffic is via; Harp Farm Road, Boxley Road, A2045 Woods, A229 J3 Interchange, Taddington Wood Roundabout, Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge, Lord Lees Roundabout, Bluebell Hill Slip South On, A229 Bluebell Hill, Chatham Road, Cobtree Roundabout, Chatham Road, Running Horse Roundabout, Sandling Lane, Boxley Road, The Street, Pilgrims Way.

The alternative route for Northbound traffic is via; Pilgrims Way, The Street, Boxley Road, Sandling Lane, Running Horse Roundabout, A229 Chatham Road, Cobtree Roundabout, Chatham Road, , Blue Bell Hill Slip North Off, Lord Lees Roundabout, Blue Bell Hill Slip Link Bridge, Taddington Wood Roundabout, A229 J3 Interchange, A2045 Walderslade Woods, Boxley Road, Harp Farm Road, Lidsing Road, Pilgrims Way, The Street.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 19:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs each night.

This closure is necessary to enable urgent Carriageway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
