Vonn Wins Bronze in Super G 3 US Women Qualify VANCOUVER 2010 February 20 , 2010 Vonn Wins Bronze in Super G Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) won the br onze medal in th e women’s super G this morning in competition at Whistler Creekside. Her time of 1:20.88 was 0.74 off the 1:20.14 winning time of Andrea February 21 Events Fischbacher of Austria , while Tina Maze of Slovenia took the silver 9:15 a.m. medal with a 1:20.63. Vonn becomes the third American to win M Ski Cross, Qualifying two alpine medals at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, 9:30 a.m. joining Bode Miller (Franconia, NH) and Julia Mancuso (Squaw M Alpine, SC/DH 10:45 a.m. Valley, CA). After two years of hard work and training, she found herself as an alternate for the U.S. Women’s Team during the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens. Alana’s determination eventually led to her becoming a full-time member of the national team. And in 2006, she won her first silver medal at the 2006 Wheelchair Basketball Championship. In 2008, Alana was on the big stage again at the Paralympic Games, this time on a basketball court on the other side of the world, in Beijing, China. And that day, she and her teammates won Gold. But Alana, didn’t celebrate long. Instead, she moved to Colorado, with her eye set on an entirely different sport – Alpine skiing.

The waiver authorizes the SoonerCare Choice and Insure Oklahoma (IO) demonstrations. With this amendment request, OHCA seeks approval of the following modifications to the demonstration for the 2018 extension period: 1. Modify the Special Terms and Conditions (STC) to add qualifying supplemental payments to (a) Oklahoma public universities and/or federally recognized entities that offer qualified physician (M.D. and D.O.) Oklahoma based residency training programs in recognition of the higher cost associated with these programs for physician recruitment and training to maintain sufficient access to quality preventive, primary and specialty healthcare for SoonerCare members and (b) to offer an OHCA approved physician qualified loan repayment program; 2. Modify the waiver language to add hypothesis and evaluation criteria to test and measure the adequacy and sufficiency of the proposed program; and 3. Modify the expenditure authority to add expenditures related to services provided under the program. Background: In recognition of CMS’s commitment to assist the OHCA in identifying a path forward for critical funding that supports access and healthcare delivery for Medicaid beneficiaries, the OHCA is submitting this amendment to continue support, through supplemental payments, of physician residency training programs and physicians who practice in rural communities. Oklahoma’s two medical schools; specifically the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine (OU) and the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU) are key clinical partners with the OHCA in the delivery of Medicaid services in the state.
