About the Play The English 233A Much Ado Acting Company Shakespeare probably wrote the Much Ado About Nothing This acting company is comprised of students enrolled in between 1598-1599. SCC’s English 233A: Shakespeare’s Comedies and The play may have been first performed by the Lord Romances taught by Professor Corinna Evett. Chamberlain’s Men at the Theatre (whose parts were used to build the Globe in 1599). The students will perform an original modern adaptation of a few scenes from William Shakespeare’s play Much The title page of the quarto states that the play “hath been Ado About Nothing. sundrie times publikely acted by the Right Honourable, the Lord Chamberlaine his servants.”

Much Ado About Nothing? About the Film This adaptation is set in a 21st century manor, featuring seamless gender reversal and a plentitude of witticisms.
