NEW SPECIES AND NEW RECORDS OF CLICK FROM THE PALEARCTIC REGION (COLEOPTERA, ELATERIDAE)

Abstract: Two new species belonging to the genus from Romania and Serbia are described. New records or comments involving eleven other species belonging to the genera Conoderus, Athous, Megathous, , Ampedus, Melanotus, Car- diophorus and Dicronychus are given. Key words: Coleoptera, Elateridae, new species, new records, Palearctic Region.

Especies nuevas y nuevas citas de elatéridos de la Región Paleártica (Coleoptera, Elateridae) Resumen: Se describen dos especies nuevas pertenecientes al género Athous, de Rumania and Servia. Se incluyen citas nuevas o comentarios sobre otras once especies de los géneros Conoderus, Athous, Megathous, Harminius, Ampedus, Mela- notus, Cardiophorus y Dicronychus. ETYMOLOGY. The name is derived from Telciu, the locality Athous (Orthathous) lomnickii Reitter, 1905 where the species was collected. The species recorded from Bosnia-Herzegovina (Duzi) and Serbia & Montenegro (Danilovgrad) (Platia & Gudenzi, 2007) are to referred Athous (Orthathous) maljenensis n. sp. to other species.
