Music at the Intersection and Kranzberg Arts Foundation Indoor Venues To Require Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test In advance of next month’s Music at the Intersection festival, Sept 10-12, organizers and participating venues announce new COVID-19 mitigation efforts

St. Louis, Mo. – August 26, 2021 – Kranzberg Arts Foundation (KAF) will soon require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test to access its indoor establishments and ticketed performance venues. Specifically: ● Effective Sept. 1, all patrons 12 Years or older are required to show proof of their full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test if dining inside at KAF food and beverage venues, including Sophie's Artist Lounge, Blueprint at High Low, and The Dark Room. Proof of vaccination or negative test is not required for KAF patio seating at KAF food and beverage venues and KAF Galleries. ● Effective Sept. 10, all patrons 12 Years or older are required to show proof of their full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test upon entry for all ticketed events at KAF indoor performance venues, including The Grandel, .ZACK Theatre, The Marcelle, Black Box and Studio at The Kranzberg, High Low Listening Room and The Dark Room.

With the exception of Music at the Intersection festival (Sept 10-12), proof of vaccination or negative test will not be required in KAF outdoor venues (The Big Top and Open Air Tent).

The above policies are in addition to an existing mask policy, which went into effect at the organization’s indoor venues in late July (coinciding with the guidance and mandates set forth by public health and local government). Masks are currently required in all Kranzberg Arts Foundation indoor facilities.

Music at the Intersection: The COVID-19 vaccination or testing policy for performance venues goes into effect Friday, Sept. 10 to coincide with day one of Grand Center Arts District’s inaugural Music at the Intersection festival, of which Kranzberg Arts Foundation is a presenting sponsor. During the three-day festival (Sept. 10-12) - which features more 60 national, regional and local acts – all weekend and single-day pass ticket holders will be required to show proof of vaccine or negative test at box office check-in before receiving their daily wristband.

Guests will need to bring a photo ID and either their physical vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card. Unvaccinated patrons and children under 12 must provide proof of a negative COVID- 19 test: either a PCR test taken within 72 hours of box office check in or an antigen test taken within 24 hours. Guests must also wear a face mask at all indoor venues.

Advance ticket buyers can visit any of the six participating Music at the Intersection venue box offices for their COVID-19 vaccination or negative test check and festival wristband. Walk-up ticket buyers can visit the Fox Box Office for their COVID-19 vaccination or negative test check and to purchase a daily wristband. Guests attending multiple days will need to check in at one of the box offices each day.

In addition to all-weekend ($160) and single-day passes ($55-$70), Music at the Intersection is offering a livestream ticket that will allow fans to virtually watch all 10 shows taking place at Fabulous , including the festival’s headliners Roy Ayers, Gregory Porter and Lalah Hathaway. Weekend livestream tickets can be purchased for just $25, providing an affordable and accessible option to music fans in St. Louis and across the country. Music at the Intersection takes place across six venues throughout Grand Center, including Kranzberg Arts Foundation-owned The Big Top, The Grandel Theatre, and The Open Air VIP Tent at The Dark Room. Partner venues include Fabulous Fox Theatre, Concert Hall and Jazz St. Louis. All venues will abide by Kranzberg Arts Foundation’s vaccination or testing policy and indoor masking requirement during Music at the Intersection (Sept. 10-12). Additionally, venues will provide sanitizing stations and continue to operate at reduced capacity. Kranzberg Arts Foundation Indoor Venues: In addition to requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test for ticketed events at its indoor performance venues starting Sept. 10, Kranzberg Arts Foundation is also implementing the policy for its food and beverage venues on Sept. 1 to coincide with the grand opening of Sophie's Artist Lounge at its new Washington Avenue location. Additional KAF-owned venues include Blueprint at High Low, and The Dark.

Guests will need to bring a photo ID and either their physical vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card. Unvaccinated patrons over the age of 12 must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test: either a PCR test taken within 72 hours of their visit or an antigen test taken within 24 hours of their visit.

Kranzberg Arts Foundation Staff, Artists, Contractors and Vendors: All Kranzberg Arts Foundation staff, artists, organizations, contractors, vendors and volunteers whose job requires that they work with the general public, directly with artists and producing entities in KAF indoor performing arts venues and at KAF food and beverage venues will be required to have proof of vaccine or proof of negative test.

Additionally, all KAF staff, contractors, vendors and volunteers are required to wear protective face coverings at all times while working with the general public, directly with artists and producing entities.

KAF venues will continue to undergo rigorous daily cleanings, with increased disinfecting procedures on all high touch surfaces throughout its many theatres, galleries, event spaces and workspaces. All venues have sanitizer stations installed at convenient locations at entry points, common areas, offices, elevators and restroom entrances.
