cobb in the fall of 2009 changed all that. a few days later, cobb Laura rogers, Lydia rogers had them on a plane to Los angeles to record their first demos. “you can’t imagine what was going through my head,” says Laura. “the whole thing was starting to become a fairy tale.” Before long man records. the secret sisters’ self-titled debut was recorded the sisters’ sweet harmonies were attracting other big names— on vintage equipment in two weeks at nashville’s Blackbird studio. signed on as executive producer for their new “some songs only took a few takes to capture,” says Lydia. “often debut album, and released their first single on his third we’ve found we’re freshest on the first take.”
