a v o P A C TRAIL SANTA County Line to Huntington Beach THOMAS A. FUENTES THOMAS A. REGIONAL TRAIL Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza (Formerly Bell View) Parking: staging area off La Palma Avenue and Fairlynn Boulevard at the west end of the park. This well-known and popular trail consists of a paved bikeway and an unpaved trail along the river channel, stretching from Green River Golf Course to Huntington Beach. It’s a continuous 29-mile trail through 7 cities and features a landscaped greenbelt with rest areas. The equestrianstaging area at Yorba Regional Park offers corrals for horses and waterfor horses and dogs. There are numerous access points along the length of the trail. The Santa Ana River won Trail National recognition Trail from the in 2011. Parking: Get a nice workout on the Thomas A. Fuentes (formerly Bell View) Regional Trail. Hikers and equestrians have miles 15 of unpaved trails to explore, and their reward is a beautiful view of the Orange County foothills. This trail connects Caspers Wilderness Park and O’Neill Regional Park by way of the Tijeras Creek Trail.

Hikers can enjoy the greenways along San Diego Creek that provide a safe haven for birds. This trail connects Mason Regional Park and Nature Preserve. Parking: Parking: This unpaved trail is a combination of a narrow foot path and a fire road. This trail features open woodland and grassy meadows and connects trails at Limestone Canyon and Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park and at O’Neill Regional Park. Users can take a break at the Bommer Canyon Rest Area to view the surrounding . Parking: Parking: This unpaved trail is a nice hike for children and rewards hikers with stunning ocean views. A short, steep trail finishes atop Aliso Peak, a rounded summit above the Pacific Ocean. There are picnic tables at Sea View Park.
