With sadness, the Council accepted his resignation. Chi-Miigwetch to him for his service to the Aamjiwnaang community. The Council wishes him well in his future endeavors. There are now 3 unoccupied seats on the Council. These vacant seats will make it difficult to achieve quorum for our meetings so Council has decided that a by-election to elect 3 Councillors will be held. A notification will go out to the community once the dates for the by-election have been determined.
