The purpose of the Amendment Order is to amend the boundary of the Hong Kong International Airport Immigration Anchorage, an approved immigration anchorage designated under the Immigration (Anchorages and Landing Places) Order (Cap. 115 sub. leg. C). A copy of the Amendment Order is at Annex . BACKGROUND 2. Transit passenger ferry service is provided at the existing SkyPier between the Hong Kong International Airport (‘the airport’) and the Pearl River Delta (‘PRD’) Region, serving Macao, Shenzhen Shekou, Shenzhen Fuyong, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai Jiuzhou and Nansha. 3. The SkyPier is situated within the restricted area of the airport. Under the present arrangement, northbound ferries convey air-to-sea transit passengers from the SkyPier to a port in the PRD Region, whereas southbound ferries convey sea-to-air transit passengers from a port in the PRD Region to the SkyPier for their onward transit to flights at the airport. In the past few years, some innovative approaches have sought to use mobile devices to collect spatiotemporal data. In this paper we analyze spatial- temporal characteristics of resident mobility in the city of Shenzhen, using a data set captures for a seven-day period of more than one million anonymous mobile-phone users. In addition, we propose a method of recognizing the location of employment based on this kind of data and then plot an employment distribution map of Shenzhen. This method provides a new way to observe the employment distribution in a city. Understanding resident mobility from a city-wide perspective could provide researchers with convenience to forecast the traffic demand and take measures to traffic management, and could also lead to more informed decision making in both city planning and mass transit planning. ©© 20132013 The Authors. This research is an attempt to unfold the current situation of women’s development within such context by studying the case of Guangdong -- the province as forerunner of China’s economic reform and opening-up -- drawing on current primary resources. First, this study reveals mixed results for women’s development in Guangdong: achievements have been made in education, employment and political participation in terms of “rates” and “numbers,” and small “breakthroughs” have taken place in legislation and women’s awareness of their equal rights and interests; however, limitations and challenges, like disparities between different women groups in addition to gender disparity, continue to exist.
