You will most likely be asked to read this book during the semester they are taking the course.

You can wait until you know for sure before purchasing it. Or you can purchase it now and get it read during the summer. The choice is yours.

This is the second memoir Reyna Grande has written about her life. She came to the United States from Mexico as an undocumented child. Her first memoir tells the story of her life in Mexico and her immigration to the U.S.

A Dream Called Home picks up where the last book left off… Reyna is entering her junior year of college at the University of California Santa Cruz in the creative writing program. It goes on to follow her as she graduates and begins a career and her new life as a naturalized U.S. citizen in California.
