Experience: Since 1995, experience with the Forest Service on 3 national forests in 3 regions: Payette, Fremont-Winema, and Bighorn National Forests. Work experience as specialist or program manager for fisheries management and as a District Ranger. Laurie Walters-Clark Forest planning staff officer Education: Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Forest Management emphasis, Oklahoma State University, 1980. Experience: Since 1981, experience with the Forest Service on 7 Forests in 3 regions: Ozark-St. Francis, Fremont, Deschutes, Okanogan, Mount Baker-Snoqualmie, Custer, and Bighorn National Forests. Work experience in silviculture, forest ecology, insect and disease management, timber sale preparation and contract administration, service contract preparation and administration, tree improvement, recreation, special uses, lands, NEPA, rangeland management, abandoned mine lands and CERCLA. Bernie Bornong Resource staff officer Education: Bachelor of Science in Forestry, Iowa State University, 1981. Experience: Since 1982, experience with the Forest Service on the Idaho Panhandle, Bighorn, Gila, and Black Hills National Forests. Work experience in silviculture and forest ecology, botany, timber sale preparation and contract administration, developed and dispersed recreation, and wilderness. Jon Warder Forest FMO/acting forest wildlife biologist Education: Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management, Minor in Wildlife Biology, Colorado State University, 1991. Experience: Since 1991, experience with the Forest Service as a wildlife biologist and technician on four National Forests: Black Hills, Humboldt-Toiyabe, Uinta, and Bighorn. Fire management officer (FMO) for the Bighorn National Forest since 2006. Larry Dickerson Wildlife biologist (zoned) Medicine Wheel/Paintrock and Powder River Ranger Districts Education: Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology, Colorado State University, 1984 Experience: Since 2006, experience with U.S. Forest Service on Bighorn National Forest, WY and , AK. Twelve years experience with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Endangered Species and Marine Mammals Management in Idaho and Alaska. Ten years experience as Supervisory Wildlife Biologist with Wildlife Services in OR, WI, WY, and Washington D.C. Four years military experience.

Experience: Six years as Range Conservationist with the USDA Soil Conservation Service in conservation planning and program implementation. Since 1989, experience with the Forest Service, Bighorn National Forest, as a Rangeland Management Specialist (grazing permit administration and allotment planning). Silas Davidson Rangeland management specialist, Powder River Ranger District Education: Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources, University of Idaho, 2008 Experience: Range technician on the Bighorn National Forest since 2009. Amy Nowakowski Hydrologist/fisheries biologist Education: Bachelor of Science, dual major in Geosciences and Environmental Studies, Western Michigan University, 2004; Master of Science, Fluvial Geomorphology, Colorado State University, 2007. Experience: Since 2005, experience on the Bighorn National Forest, , and with other entities working in fluvial geomorphology, hydrology, fisheries, and geology. Mike Bower Forest fisheries biologist Education: Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and Management, University of Wyoming, 1999; Master of Science in Zoology and Physiology, University of Wyoming, 2005. Experience: Seven years as fish biologist for the Rawlins Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management and four years as fish biologist for Death Valley National Park. Fisheries biologist for the Bighorn National Forest since 2010. Work has included a diversity of fish and habitat research, monitoring, and management activities with a focus on recovery of imperiled cold- and warm-water fishes. Craig Cope Wilderness, recreation, special uses, Powder River Ranger District Education: Bachelor of Forest Science, Pennsylvania State University, 1974. Experience: Since 1977, experience with the USDA Forest Service on the Ashley, White River, Black Hills and Bighorn National Forests. Work experience in timber sale preparation and contract administration, fire management, special uses, , developed and dispersed recreation, travel management, and wilderness stewardship. Todd Legler District fire management officer, Medicine Wheel Paintrock District Education: Bachelor of Science in Forestry, Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ, 2000. Experience: Since 2000, experience on the Prescott, Coconino, Shoshone, and Bighorn National Forests. Work experience has been in recreation, fire suppression, and fire and fuels management.

Experience: Worked professionally from 1977 which includes Washington State University, Montana State University, University of North Dakota, Mississippi, University of Vermont, University of Maine, Arizona State University, Mesa Verde National Park (1992- 1994), (1994-2002). Heritage resources specialist on the Bighorn National Forest since 2002. Rick Laurent Heritage resources specialist Education: Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, University of Wyoming, 1981; Master of Arts in American Studies, University of Wyoming, 1996 Experience: Since 1986, experience managing heritage resources on four Forests in Region 2 of the Forest Service. Four years working for private archaeological consultants performing various aspects of legal requirements for completion of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Two years of experience with the Department of Anthropology, University of Wyoming, in conjunction with Section 106 compliance, and two archaeological research projects. Amy Ortner GIS specialist Education: Bachelor of Science in Biology, University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, 1996. Experience: Since 2009, experience on the Bighorn National Forest as the GIS specialist. Seven years experience with the Park Service working in fire management. Beth Bischoff Rangeland management specialist/botany, Medicine Wheel/Paintrock RD Education: Bachelor of Science in Rangeland Resources, Oregon State University, 1990. Experience: Since 1989, experience on the Bighorn National Forest in rangeland management, botany, and invasive plants. Zach Palm Rangeland management specialist, Tongue Ranger District Education: Bachelor of Science, Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management, University of Wyoming, 2003. Experience: Since 2004, experience on the Bighorn National Forest administering grazing permits and conducting allotment planning. 11 year member of the Society for Range Management.

Four and a half years at Olympic Resource Management doing forest planning, financial modeling, growth and yield modeling, application development, and GIS. Forest information manager on the Bighorn National Forest since 2004. Ruth Beckwith Forest landscape architect Education: Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Kansas State University, 1979 Experience: Experience with the Forest Service since 1977 on the Pike-San Isabel, Rio Grande, White River, and Bighorn National Forests. Work experience in site development and construction, dispersed and developed recreation, scenery management, wilderness, travel management, land exchange, easement acquisition, and special use permits. Licensed landscape architect. Forest plan revision core team assignments in scenery, roadless, and wilderness. Leslie Horsch Writer-editor Education: Bachelor of Science in Watershed Sciences, Colorado State University, 1983; Master of Science, Water Resources, University of Wyoming, 1995. Experience: Eight years hydrology experience with various entities including the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests. Writing-editing experience since 1994 for various Forest Service units including the Bighorn, Medicine Bow-Routt, Pike-San Isabel, Black Hills, and Nebraska National Forests, the Little Missouri National Grasslands, and the Rocky Mountain Regional Office.
