PREFACE

Serbia in figures is publication that is published by Republic Statistical Office of Serbia every year on the eve of Belgrade's Book Fair.

Goal of this publication is that the widest circle of reading public shoud be acquainted with basic data on social and economic trends in Republic of Serbia. This publication is also translated into English language in order to foreign readers, above all regular users, should have insight in quick and short way.

Statistical data for and Metohia are not shown because UNIMIK has taken over civil administration in this region.
