MUSICAL DREAMS COME TRUE EOR THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION By Christina Cucci Deputy News Editor

Saint Xavier University held its 4th Annual Halloween Benefit Concert this Saturday, October 23rJ in the Old Gym of the Main Building. The charitable event is sponsored by SXU's Collegiate Music Educators National Conference. This year their goal was to top last years' donations for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The event was entirely non-profit which means that 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The CMENC worked extremely hard this year to top their previous benefit concerts. They offered family rates, as the prices are merely a donation suggestion. Also, for those who could not attend the concert are still able to make donations by calling the Music Department at 773.298.3421. Last year, the CMENC raised over $800 for Muscular Dystrophy.
