Bridges Project Overview The ANZAC Bridge is an icon of the skyline ANZAC Bridge and an important part of the road network. Maintenance Project It is now fifteen years since the ANZAC Bridge opened to traffic and Roads and Maritime Services is undertaking a maintenance program to ensure its Client Roads and Maritime Services effective operation into the future. Location Pyrmont, The maintenance project will improve the bridge’s stay cables, maintenance access for parts of the Value $3.4 Million bridge which are currently difficult to access as well as improving the pedestrian fencing. Duration October 2010 - mid 2013 SAGE Automation is a member of the Alliance undertaking these works on behalf of Roads and Maritime Services. SAGE was invited to form part of the Alliance following similar successful work on the . Our involvement centres around refurbishment and upgrading of the various access systems associated with the bridge. The Alliance was awarded in two phases, the design phase started in October 2010 and was successfully completed in late 2011. This project demonstrates the value and successful Similar Projects outcomes being achieved from alliance partnering which are founded on values including: Sydney Harbour Bridge Open book approach In 2011 SAGE completed a three year project providing electrical and mechanical design and fit- Total focus on outcomes out to the gantries on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. ‘Best for Project’ approach This project faced some significant challenges which SAGE worked very closely with the Bridge Works Alliance team to overcome.

Alliance Partners Roads and Maritime Services (NSW) Port River Expressway Bridge Baulderstone SAGE was awarded the contract to provide the Plant Management and Control System (PMCS), Freyssinet which monitors and controls the functions of the SAGE Automation bridges. In 2010 SAGE won the Process and Control Engineering (PACE) Zenith Award for this project in the Infrastructure Category
