We are conducting the Assistant General Manager search for -focused, family-centric Scioto Country Club located in Columbus, OH. The candidate will be an integral part of a high-performing team at an historic and world-renowned Club. The position will prepare the candidate for the next career phase, General Manager (the previous Assistant Manager left to become a GM of a major club in the Midwest) and will provide valuable tourna- ment management experience: Scioto Country Club will host the 2016 U.S. Senior Open.

Dining at Scioto Country Club Scioto Country Club offers a variety of dining venues which include outdoor porches and bars, fire pits and magnificent views overlooking the golf course allowing the mem- bership ample opportunities to enjoy the Club’s fine cuisine.

The Club’s facilities range from very casual dining in the Donald Ross Room (seats 40) and adjacent 1916 Grille (seats 120), to the Terraces (seats 200) overlooking the first fairway, and the beautiful private dining facilities such as the Nicklaus Room (seats 20), Centennial Room (seats 40), Scioto Room (seats 50), Solarium (seats 25), Second Floor Lounge (seats 60), and the Founder’s Ballroom (includes three rooms—Bush, Hamill and Lanman Rooms) which seats up to 250. Assistant General Manager Position The Assistant General Manager at Scioto Country Club is ultimately responsible for several areas including all food and beverage operations at the Club, essentially being the face of these operations, as well as other clubhouse staff including valet and locker rooms. He or she will work closely with the various athletics in aquatics, tennis and paddle tennis.

The AGM is the primary coordinator of food and beverage budget- ing, hiring, training, orientations and teammate “culturization,” and supervision of associates. He/she will therefore be applying relevant and necessary marketing techniques to drive member usage of food and beverage and clubhouse operations along with assuring member and guest needs and desires are consist- ently met and often exceeded.
