The Western Adelaide region is made up of three council areas (the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, the City of Charles Sturt and the City of West Torrens)

and provides facilities for numerous sports across the region including swimming, athletics, cycling, golf, equestrian, rugby, lacrosse, American football, archery, volleyball, beach volleyball, croquet, squash, badminton, ice sports, futsal, shooting, motor sports and sailing.
