Thirteen members and guests (guest speaker Daniel Moore, OSDTN - Clarksville) were in attendance to the 2021 April Chapter Luncheon meeting (virtual conference) hosted by COL Bill Graham. CDR Adames presented a video – Baseball & History of our National Anthem in Sport; a video for sport and history enthusi- ast; and Veterans alike. Then, LTC Tim Powers introduced our guest speaker: Mr. Daniel Moore, District manager for Operation Standdown Ten- nessee – Clarksville (OSDTN). Mr. Moore spoke about OSDTN services provides and connects Veterans and their families with comprehensive resources focused on transition, employment, financial, transitional housing, transportation, counseling and legal support to veterans who have served. We engage, we equip and we empower veterans. It does not matter where you served or how long your served in the Armed Forces. In March, OSDTN moved from the 400 Madison Street location into their new office on115 Third Street. The new facility has a community room with state-of-art technology. There are three private consultation room, an executive conference room, and a staff area. Since March 2020, OSDTN, also, has locally partnered with MCVC, United Way, Matthew Williams, and Urban Ministry in the monthly local homeless shower truck pro- gram. OSDTN office is open Monday – Thursday 8 am - 4:30 pm and Friday 1:00 – 4:30 pm. Website: osdtn.org or call 931- 896-2184. OSDTN hosted its’ Sixth annual Clarksville Heroes Breakfast fundraiser on Thursday, April 29 at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center with its’ keynote speaker Cpl. Matthew Bradford, USMC (Retired).

MAJ Richard Noggles reports the CG Turkey Hunt had 75 entries (participant and guides) for Sat, Apr 17.

CPT Eddie Sumbler gave a TVET update on the new TNVET website: TNVET.org The members have been meeting via zoom for the 2021 year. TNVET’s next meeting in May.

Major Gen Walt Lord is on the board directors of several Veteran organization; shared information on one very special to Tennessee: One More Day, a suicide awareness, which is part of the Governor’s & Mayor’s Challenge Suicide Prevention.

CW4 Joe Shakeenab shared appreciation for MOAA attending APSU Military Alumni Dinner in March. He shared information and dates for the next APSU Military Alumni Dinner to be held Friday, Oct 08, 2021.

LT Chuck Webster has relayed information of the local High Schools JROTC MOAA Awards ceremonies and the Austin Peay State University ROTC MOAA Awards ceremonies will be a closed event (no outside presenter).

Patricia Grey (Honorary Member) will be a volunteer at the VA clinic in Dover, TN.

Ivan Adames Chapter President The Fort Campbell Spouse Club V.I.C.E. Night - Havana 2021 was held at the Oak Grove Racing, Gaming, & Hotel on Friday, April 23rd in the Grand Ballroom. MOAA Chapter members attending were Ivan Adames, Hunter Clouse, Mark Kelly, Bob Huffman, Joe & Nancye Britton, Doug Englen, Michael Taliento. Potential MOAA prospecting members: MAJ Matthew Childers and COL Ernie & Joan DeWald. The goal of this Charity Event has been to provide an entertaining evening for the soldiers, retirees, community members and their families.

This FCSC 38th Annual V.I.C.E. Night - Havana 2021 is dedicated to our dear friend and generous sup- porter Valerie Hunter-Kelly who passed away in 2020, was the spouse of COL Mark A. Kelly, USA (Ret), a MOAA Chapter member and past Chapter President 2004, 2005 & 2009.
