Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kings Lane, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Covenbrook Hall Road for a distance of approximately 317m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th June 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC11W0000IBTNMUWL02 – BT). The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of 2 new telegraph poles is undertaken by BT. The Order will come into effect on 15th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier (Countess Cross Road, ) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Countess Cross Road, Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Countess Cross for a distance of approximately 124m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th June 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034791205 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electric connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Fishpits Lane, Bures Road, Road, Cross End, The Street, Hill House Road, Cricks Road, Overhall Hill, Countess Cross and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Polecat Road, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Polecat Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Witham Road to its junction with Church Road, a distance of approximately 708m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2248393 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway haunch works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Polecat Road, Church Road, Shardloes Lane, Temple Lane, Witham Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 1st June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
