WEEKLY POLLS: Despite another 60-plus point victory and two teams ahead of the Griz in the rankings losing, Montana held firm at No. 10 in this week’s STATS FCS media poll and the FCS coaches’ poll.

2016 Big Sky Football Standings In the media poll, the Griz were just 21 votes shy of moving up to No. 9 with 2,610 votes. Charleston Southern (3-2) sits ahead of the Grizzlies in the poll with 2,630 votes. Speaking of Déjà vu: Gustafson has passed for four touchdowns and nearly similar yardage in each of the last two games. Against MVSU he threw for 251 yards, a pair of touchdowns to Keenan Curran, one to James Homan and one to Colin Bingham. Against Sac. State he threw for 246 yards and touchdowns to Curran, Jeremy Calhoun, Bingham and Josh Horner before being relieved by Chad Chalich.

During that time UM scored 128 unanswered points. The last time UM scored that many unanswered points was in 1920 against Carroll College, a 133-0 win for UM (a school record).

10 TDs: Montana scored 10 touchdowns against Sac. St., tied at No. 4 in the UM record book for most touchdowns in a single game. The Griz have scored 10 TDs seven different times in program history. The only times UM scored more than 10 touchdowns were: 11 vs Weber State in 1999, 14 vs Montana State in 1904 and 16 in that 1920 game against Carroll.
