La GTS-R passa a 1137 hp e 313 CV aggiuntivi (1450 hp complessivi) quindi si arriva alla tecnologia sperimentale della ” X ” nella quale il V10 è elaborato a 2168 CV e il sistema pneumatico per le ruote anteriori arriva a 422 hp di picco: totale 2590 hp. In questo caso per assistere i dischi freni in carbonio e la spinta dell’assetto al terreno, compaiono prese d’aria supplementari e pannelli aerodinamici.
