Senate Ways & Means Committee
January 14, 2014 LEAP is a bipartisan standing committee of the Legislature. The Committee consists of eight members; four Senators who are appointed by the President of the Senate and four Representatives who are appointed by the Speaker of the House. Member appointments are two-year terms.

Developing budgets, communicating budget information, tracking budget activity
Providing analysis and consultation on issues in support of legislative needs
Staff provide fiscal information in systems and tools that support legislative budget development processes and provide transparency in state government through fiscal reporting on the Internet.
