MY OWN LANE AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE ON JANUARY 7TH [New York, NY – January 6, 2014] All roads lead to the highly-anticipated release of Kid Ink’s major label debut album, My Own Lane, available January 7th on Tha Alumni Music Group/88 Classic/RCA Records. In support of My Own Lane, Kid Ink will make his late night television debut performance of his chart-topping single “Show Me” on Conan, January 7 (TBS, 11:00PM/10:00PM C). The performance will feature DJ Mustard (producer of “Show Me” and several other tracks on the album); much buzzed about R&B singer Eric Bellinger and Kid Ink’s DJ Tech. Also on deck are performances on BET’s 106 & Park (1/9), AXS TV’s Skee Live (1/14) and Revolt TV (air date tba). Paving the way for My Own Lane is Kid Ink’s hit single “Show Me” featuring Chris Brown, which is currently #3 at Rhythmic radio and #12 at Urban radio. Selected by Shazam as one of the “2014 New Artists to Watch,” Kid Ink continues to make an impact internationally as My Own Lane currently claims the #1 spot on iTunes in Germany, marking his second #1 iTunes album in the market. Additionally, the album has peaked on various iTunes charts across the world including, #2 in Austria and Switzerland, #5 in Luxembourg, #6 in France #8 in New Zealand, #10 in Denmark and Hungary, #13 in Holland, #14 in Russia and #17 in the UK. The album has also peaked at #1 on the iTunes Hip Hop Albums charts in the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Japan; #2 in France, Denmark and Belgium. Furthering his global stature, MTV International has chosen Kid Ink as their first PUSH campaign artist of 2014. Starting this week, all MTV International properties (not including North America) will showcase videos shot during Kid Ink’s recent sold out Roll Up European tour.
