Reports from the Tour de France events Early July saw the first stage of the Tour de France sweep through Kent on its way to France. Several French related events took place around Kent including pétanque competitions.

The KPA, with Canterbury City Council, planned a “come and try” session near the Tour de France finish line and also ran an “official” Tour event. At Hadlow, The Harrow invited Mark Thorne to help them organise their French-flavoured event. The reports below come from the successes and failures of that weekend.
