 Rola-Rena Roller Skating Rink This initiative consists of emerging, early, and fluent reading suggestions through role modeling  Sky Zone within a series of short videos and other resources. The videos feature a Packers-affiliated  Sky Zone personality displaying examples of how to read to a child at the different reading stages. Wristbands available at the Central, Reading and talking about books with little ones – starting at birth – is the best East and Southwest libraries way to help them get ready to read on their own when they are older. starting in early June.

This long-term project encourages adults to read as many books as possible to young children, with a chance to win a prize for each completed 50-book reading record.  For school-age audiences (ages 5 & up).  For the enjoyment of everyone attending, please comply with age guidelines.  Please - no strollers.  Seating is available on first-arrival basis. Families don’t need to sign up in advance.  Groups of 10 or more must sign up in advance: (920) 448-5846. Groups may call up to one week before each program starting at 9:00 a.m. (Ask about “Early Bird Sign Up” for groups that need to commit further ahead).  Performances at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Each show is approximately 45 minutes.

June 13: Truly Remarkable Loon

Yes, Truly Remarkable Loon is his real and legal name! In his "Read Books and Juggle Everything Else" show, he performs astounding feats of juggling and balancing, accompanied by non-stop comedy patter.

June 20: Jim Lenz Comedy Science Show

Green Bay's own internationally-performing "Magic and Science Guy" captivates audiences with drama and a few twists of magic. He will involve the audience in a series of science demonstrations that break down complex concepts into easier-to-understand nuggets.

June 27: The Juggler with the Yellow Shoes

Dan Kirk amazes his audience by juggling, stilt-walking, plate spinning, yo-yo ticking, twisting balloon art, creating giant bubbles, and more! A full-time professional juggler and comic entertainer since 1993, Dan has presented more than 2,555 performances in 14 states, including an appearance on "America's Got Talent."

July 11: Science Day with Mr. J!

What do exploding paint cans, a bed of nails, chemistry "magic" and a frozen banana hammer have in common? They are just a few of the tricks science educator Mark Janssen (Mr. J.) has up his sleeve. His dynamic show gets the audience involved in the wonders of science.

July 18: Mr. Taps - The King of Whimsical Dance

Ayrie King III ("Mr. Taps") has captivated audiences at venues throughout the U.S., including the famous Apollo Theater in New York. He'll introduce and perform a variety of high-energy tap dancing styles. His fancy footwork, jumps, speed and infectious rhythm will leave you wanting more. July 25: Mark Hayward, Yo-Yo & Juggling Champion

Mark Hayward is a World Yo-yo Champion, a member of a World Champion Juggling Team, a Spin Top Champion, AND he's more fun than a bucket of worms. (That's FUN!) He's performed on The Late Show with David Letterman (twice) and America's Got Talent. His wacky variety show will amaze and entertain. Watch for the Boingy-Boingy!

August 1: The Magic of Rick Allen

Rick Allen's performances feature mind-blowing magic combined with music and comical audience participation. He brings out the "ohhs" and "ahhs" with remarkable appearances of live doves, a haunted table, a levitating member of the audience and much much more!

August 8: Tom Pease, Award- Winning Children’s Musician

Children's musician Tom Pease has performed full time since 1982, often giving more than 200 performances per year. Each concert he creates with his audience is unique, full of participation, sing-alongs, movement activities, sign language and laughter.
