Treating More Than 1,300 Cases of the Life- threatening Disease (Cholera):

lthough much has been done in order to A fight cholera outbreak and reduce its transmission, the number of its cases has sharply increased in especially in Ibb and As Sayyani districts which are considered as the most two affected districts in IBB Governorate. During August, our health workers have treated more than 553 suspected cholera cases in both targeted Diarrhea Treatment Centers (DTCs) and also treated over 754 cases of mild and moderate dehydration in our four Oral Rehydration Corners (ORCs) in Ibb and As Sayyani districts of IBB Governorate.

Launching a Huge Number of Awareness- raising Campaigns for People in Rural Areas:

Volunteers (CHVs) have been working around the clock to spread awareness on key health messages such as cholera signs & symptoms, personal hygiene, hand washing, water chlorination. Rehabilitation of Three Health Facilities Are

Entirely Done:

s we support 3 health facilities A (Mudahajayn, Al-Mabda, Al-Karaba) with emergency and general health services, essential equipment, operational support, minimum and initial reproductive health services, our WaSH field team have completed all rehabilitation works for the three health facilities in Al-Qafr district of IBB Governorate.

Through 236 FDPs, RDP Supports 104,517 Children and PLW with BSFP Services:

Closure of the Emergency Food Assistance for the Most Vulnerable Households:

DP in partnership with BCFHD has R completed the implementation of the emergency food assistance for the most vulnerable households project in Ash Shamayatayn district of Taizz Governorate. The project was meant to alleviate the suffering of the most affected and vulnerable HHs for 10 months starting on October 10th, 2018 to August 9th, 2019, targeting 2,800 HHs (14,728 Individuals). An Induction Workshop on Assessing WASH Services in Health Facilities: ithin the project of Cholera Response W and WASH Services in Health Facilities (Assessment of 307 Health Facilities & Rehabilitation of 40 Health Facilities, RDP WaSH Team have conducted the induction workshop for 39 members of the assessment team on assessing and rehabilitating WaSH services in health facilities, environmental and social impact, tools, gender aspects, and hygiene promotion messages. Two Health Facilities Were Assessed in Hareeb District of Marib Governorate: s we are working on the assessment of A WASH services in 307 health facilities in Amanat Al Asimah – Sana’a - Amran – Dhamar – Marib – Al Bayda Governorates, targeting an estimated total number of 2,889,764 individuals (1,288,426 men, 1,335,146 women, 127,552 boys, 138,640 girls) of the catchment population, RDP WaSH team have assessed two health facilities (Alhad HU and Jratha HU) in Hareeb district of Marib Governorate.
