Country music is full of tradition. Whether it’s mile after mile down a dusty highway or a commitment to write music from the heart, Mark Collie has embraced these traditions while establishing a few of his own since first embarking on a career in music in the 1970’s.

In the nearly 25 years since, he has released 8 albums, charted 16 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Charts, and collaborated with a veritable “who’s who” of contemporary and classic . His most recent album, Alive at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, reached #11 on the EuroAmericana Charts for an unprecedented 3 month run.

Today, Collie is in studio working on a new album project which is scheduled for release in early spring of 2015.

On Monday, February 23rd Collie was in Nashville at the National Universe Awards show where he presented the National Universe Film Award to “Where Hope Grows,” a Liongate Entertainment film.

An endless desire for new experiences led Mark Collie to acting in the late 90’s. After parting ways with Giant Records in 1996, Collie decided he needed to take a break from making records. While reevaluating his life he launched his acting career with the Steven Segal film “Fire Down Below” and has since appeared in everything from Blockbusters to Westerns to Romantic Comedies.

In the 2004 commercial blockbuster “The Punisher”, Collie plays Harry Heck – a guitar player who is murdered by villain Bobby Saint during a killing spree. Worldwide, the film netted over $50 million at the box office and featured such Hollywood heavyweights as .
