These savings were delivered without any negative impact on overall audience numbers or appreciation scores. Meanwhile the proportion of UK adults who agreed that they received good value from the licence fee remained stable at 56%.1 This year we set a new target for the BBC to deliver efficiencies of a further 11% by 2016/17.
