LONG JOHN BALDRY AND THE 7” EP. Following Cyril Davies’s death in January 1964, Long John Blues 11.99 HOOCHIE COOCHIE MEN: Filthy Baldry took over the All Stars and renamed them the Hoochie McNasty Coochie Men. These recordings come from a March 1965 UNOFFICIAL RSD18 RELEASE broadcast and are played by the sixth and final incarnation of the group without Rod Stewart on vocals. 5. Gordon Beck – Piano, Jeff Clyne – Double Bass, Tony Oxley – Jazz 17.60 Drums. 7. JEFF BECK GROUP: Radio sessions LP. This album of radio sessions has repertoire ranging from Rock 21.99 1967 classic blues tunes by Willie Dixon and Buddy Guy through UNOFFICIAL RSD18 RELEASE commercial pop, to Jimmy Page’s slab of Psychedelia, Beck’s Bolero, and Tamla Motown hits from Norman Whitfield and Holland/Dozier/Holland. As a bonus, there are a couple of contemporary interviews with Jeff Beck and a version of Curtis Mayfield’s It’s Alright by Rod Stewart’s Steampacket. Part of the first wave of mid-70s UK punk Punk - 1000 27.99 explosion alongside The Damned, Sex Pistols and Clash, The Boys formed in London in 1975 and were to become the first UK punk band to sign a record deal. 16. This is the 2011 original version of the soon to rereleased Indie 1500 6000 29.99 (mirror to mirror) and reimagined Twin Fantasy. A Bandcamp cult classic, this 2011 version has never before been pressed on vinyl. 23. CASH, Johnny: I love you because 7” single Country 9.99 24. These two classic tracks from the elusive Mary Clark Soul 1000 hand numbered 14.99 got your hold on me were originally released on the P&P distributed La Shawn label in 1980. The original 45 is now extremely rare and HTF and now sells for c£200 if you can find one! 26. COATES, Oliver: John Luther Adams LP. A re-working of John Luther Adams’ Canticles of the sky. Classical 21.99 27. COOMBES, Gaz: The Oaks (Leftfield 12” single Indie 550 14.99 remix) 28. COSTELLO, Elvis: Someone else’s 7” in picture sleeve. This version of “Someone Else’s Heart” was New Wave / 750 4400 9.99 heart feat. Questlove / Instrumental recorded in 2011 and marked the first time that Elvis and Pop version Questlove collaborated, igniting the spark that led to 2013’s Wise Up Ghost. It features Someone Else’s Heart on the A-side and an instrumental version on the flip. 29. CREATION REBEL: Dub from Creation LP Reggae 21.99 30. Folk / Blues 1000 ? 24.99 and the Dead Country 42. EASYBEATS, The: Lovin‘ Machine 7” EP. The Easybeats Lovin’ Machine EP shows just what a great Pop 11.99 UNOFFICIAL RSD18 RELEASE live band they were. These four tracks are taken from a German TV show broadcast from Offenbach in February 1967. 43. END , The: Introspection 2LP 28.75 44. EUROPE: Walk the Earth Picture disc LP, first time available in this format. Pop 500 1000 31.50 45. EURYTHMICS: 1984 Coloured LP Pop 750 3100 27.99 46. FAME, Georgie: Rhythm and blues and LP. Despite the Blue Flames having officially broken up in October Jazz / Blues ? ? 21.99 jazz – live in Europe 1967 ’66, the Offenbach band is in effect the Blue Flames, whereas at UNOFFICIAL RSD18 RELEASE Lucerne, it is the Georgie Fame Quartet on the bill. ‘The show with a quartet is very experimental,’ Fame explained, ‘with things like three part harmonies with voice, guitar and flute and new treatments of new tunes as well as some standards.’ 47. FIVE DAY WEEK STRAW PEOPLE: LP. Listed as one of Record Collector's ‘100 Greatest Psychedelic Psych ? ? 17.75 [same] Records’ (nestling immediately below the Moody Blues ‘In Search Of A Lost Chord’), this album deserves a place in any discerning record collection. It relates an imagined "typical weekend of the average nine-to-five worker" as they recounted in an interview at the time. The songs had been written by David Montague and Guy Mascolo, who had first met when they were hairdressers in Clapham in 1963. Guy had just co-founded a salon with his brother Toni, which since then has mushroomed into the hairdressing juggernaut that is ‘Toni and Guy’. 48. Originally issued in 1991 this was the band’s 3rd 25.99 album featuring covers of songs by Love and The Doors. 52. NOëL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING 12” yellow single 3225 13.99 BIRDS: It’s a beautiful world (remixed) 53. GAYE, Marvin: Sexual healing – the Red smoke coloured LP. 35th anniversary package of remixes, Soul 1000 ? 24.99 remixes including Kygo club hit. 54. GAYNOR, Gloria: I will survive / 12” single. Contains full 12” disco versions of both I Will Survive Disco 700 18.99 Substitute and Substitute (the original A-side). 55. GENTRY, Bobbie: Live at the BBC LP. No BBC material featuring Bobbie has ever been released 750 2500 24.99 (and only Ode to Billie Joe has been leaked on Youtube) so these recordings are completely unfamiliar to fans and available for the first time.
