CDOA Cultural Dancers - The Commonwealth of Dominica, Ontario Association (CDOA) Cultural dancers made its official debut in October 2004 as part of the overall response to harness the potential of the Dominican Diaspora and to keep our rich cultural dances alive in Canada. The group is comprised of volunteers and is lead by the CDOA’s Cultural Officer Ms. Sylvian Leatham. Rosslyn St Jean the youngest member of the group will perform a traditional Bele dance. The entire group will perform a Heel and Toe traditional dance. These traditional dances are usually performed around the island of Dominica during their independence celebration in November. The CDOA cultural dancers perform at several events around the City and all funds raised by the group are donated towards the CDOA Scholarship Fund.

Mad LinQz Born in Toronto she posses a powerful energy and love to perform Jazz and Reggae Music. In 1998 she began working with Uncle B – No (CmA Ent). She has performed Citywide at concerts, community events and festivals such as: Big on Bloor and the Taste of Pelham. In 2006 she interviewed on “The Beat Goes On” with host Nikki Clarke.

In 2011 Mad LinQz won the Royal Family “Fire Starter” competition in Jamaica making her Toronto’s 1st original Fire Starter. She also opened for Capleton at the Rozz Banquet Hall for his Canada Day Show. And now in 2016 her new single "Black Lives Matter", produced by Keron Williams, is available on Itunes.
