Agenda Overview

The Munich Agenda 2021 is a Hybrid Mix of Live, Virtual & Hub attendance. To suit most time zones we will be showing content as follows (time zones in CET): All timings are subject to change dependent on covid testing.

Regional Hubs Individual Hubs will have their own agendas of local speakers, Ambassadors and live workshops but will join the live Munich content when time zones connect. Hub locations are subject to change and more to be announced. These are selected based on travel and Covid restrictions but at present the current Hubs are in Delhi, Singapore and New York. Timings

Thursday 22 July: Opening Ceremony 17:00 – 18:00 CET Virtual Platform 18:00 – 20:30 CET Live from Munich

The Virtual Platform will commence from 17:30 CET with a welcome address and lead up to the Opening Ceremony that will be broadcast live from Munich at 18:00 CET from .

The show will feature the One Young World Flag Ceremony, music Closing Ceremony 2019 London Central Hall Westminster and dance entertainment, Counsellor welcome and keynote speakers. After the last session on the Presentation stage, the first part of the Closing Ceremony will begin in Olympiahalle before processing to BMW Welt for the final performances.

The show will feature the virtual ribbon tying ceremony, awards, keynote speeches, live music, entertainment from 2022 Host City Japan and the handing over of the One Young World baton.

Workshops Exhibition

Has commenced with monthly sessions to welcome Delegates to OYW and letting them meet and network with fellow Delegates from around the world.

Networking will continue on the Platform, with Delegates assigned to each other for speed Click here to apply! networking sessions, through “smart matchmaking”. Delegates can also connect with other Delegates through the search function in the app. The networking lounge also provides multiple opportunities for Delegates to connect informally.

For those Delegates live in Munich networking will take place during hotel meet ups, break periods and evening events.

Our host city will be arranging city tours live for Delegates in Munich and by film on the virtual platform.
