Venerable Bodhi at Jade Buddha Temple

We are excited to announce that in November Venerable will be visiting Houston in connection with the annual “Walk to Feed the Hungry” held on behalf of the organization he helped to found, Buddhist Global Relief, which sponsors projects around the world providing relief to communities afflicted by chronic hunger and malnutrition. The Walk held each autumn in ten locations around the U.S., is BGR’s main fundraising activity.

November 13, at Grand Hall of Jade Buddha Temple • 10:00am – 11:30am Talk on “Bridging The Two Vehicles” - How to Understand the Relationship between Early and the . • 1:00pm – 2:30pm Workshop on “In The Buddha’s Words” - We recommend you read the book. Get a copy at the Temple.

Venerable Bhikkhu Bodhi Venerable Bhikkhu Bodhi, born in New York, has been a Buddhist monk since 1972. He is a world-renowned scholar and has translated many from the Canon into English. He currently lives and teaches at Chuang Yen Monastery in Carmel, New York.
