After college, Scott played for the in the NPSL before being offered a professional contract with the Devonport Strikers of the NPL in Australia in 2020. Club President, Richard Shaw expressed his delight with the news of Scott putting pen to paper:

“I first coached Wyatt when he was 7 years old, and it was great to see him grow and develop as a youth player through to the college level. He is one of the most competitive players I have worked with in the U.S.”

“There can no doubt that this is an exciting time for Invictus FC, and it is great to see talented players like Wyatt Scott wanting to be part of it. We want to help players maximize their potential in the sport, and if we can help players achieve that, and have some go on to play at a higher level overseas, then we can feel successful as a club. Providing our youngsters at Invictus with the opportunity to watch players like Wyatt put on the Invictus FC jersey, and perform at a high level, is only going to deliver positive outcomes for our youth development process.”

With the UPSL schedule soon to be announced, Scott shared his excitement to play for Invictus and for the new upcoming season:

“I'm extremely excited about the opportunity to represent Invictus and the Central New York Community. Moreover, I have tremendous faith that the club will help my development as both a player and a person. Playing for an organization I grew up being a part of will be a tremendous honor. I know that Paul Mairs (Technical Director), and Richard, will always support and look after their players, and this is very important to me. I cannot wait to compete and be part of this team.
