1. What is the Golden Ticket?

The Golden Ticket is a double pass to every publically ticketed event at the Qantas Credit Union Arena for its final 12 months of operation in 2015*.

Qantas Credit Union Arena as organizer, and Redkite as the benefiting charity, have partnered together to run a Golden Ticket Raffle in order to raise funds for Redkite’s Music Therapy Program. Raffle tickets will be on sale to the general public from 9am 8 October 2014 to midnight 14 December 2014. The lucky winner will be able to attend each event at the Arena from 1 January 2015 to December 2015.

*Please note that whenever there is more than one showing of the same act, tickets to additional performances will be provided subject to the tours ticket allocation to the Arena.

2. Where is the Qantas Credit Union Arena?

Qantas Credit Union Arena is located right in the heart of at 35 Harbour Street, Darling Harbour. Nestled between the bustle of Sydney’s vibrant Chinatown and the sparkling Darling Harbour precinct, the Arena is the entertainment district’s heart and soul. The Arena is located just 10 minutes’ walk from both Town Hall and Central station and is easily accessible by both bus and car with several car-parks close by.

3. Can you tell me more about the events that are coming up at the Qantas Credit Union Arena?

Whilst we cannot advise you of all the events that will be held at the Arena during the 2015 Golden Ticket season, Qantas Credit Union Arena continues to attract many global artists, family favorites, rock legends and sporting heroes. Some of the acts currently scheduled include Swedish pop rockers Roxette, music legends The Eagles, ’s pop princess Kylie Minogue, rock singer-songwriter Rod Stewart, popular pop goddess Cher and family favorite Disney Live, as well as the 2014-15 Sydney Kings season. 4. How do I enter?

Entry is made by purchasing Raffle tickets which will be put into a draw, with the winner selected at random.

Raffle Tickets can be purchased online at www.sydneygoldenticket.com. From www.sydneygoldenticket.com you will be directed to a dedicated Golden Ticket web page where your credit card transaction will be processed through this secure site. There will also be links to the Golden Ticket website through www.qantascreditunionarena.com.au and www.redkite.org.au .

Tickets will be also be on-sale in person at selected Arena events during the raffle sale period. Tickets will not be directly available through Ticketek.

For those without access to the Internet, please call the Redkite office on 1800 735 548 and they will be happy to assist with purchasing raffle tickets.

5. How much are the Raffle tickets?

Raffle tickets will be available for the following prices (Australian dollars):

 1 ticket x $10  4 tickets x $30  10 tickets x $50  25 tickets x $100

Each ticket purchased makes you eligible to win the Golden Ticket double pass at Qantas Credit Union Arena for 2015 with an estimated prize value of $14,500.

6. Is there a transaction fee for purchasing my ticket online?

No transaction fees will apply for the purchase a Raffle ticket. Standard bank or credit card fees will be incurred.

7. How many Raffle tickets can I buy?

There is no limit on the number of Raffle tickets that can be purchased.

8. Is my Raffle ticket purchase tax-deductible?

As this is classed as a purchase rather than a direct donation, it is not considered to be tax deductible.

9. Can anybody enter?

Entry into the Golden Ticket Raffle is open to all that reside in Australia. Permanent staff of Redkite and Qantas Credit Union Area are not eligible to enter.

Those living interstate are very welcome to enter to aid with the fundraising efforts. However, travel expenses to and from Sydney to attend the events, and any other ancillary costs (i.e. food and accommodation) are not covered or included in the prize.

10. When will entries close?

The raffle opens on 8 October 2014 and closes at midnight 14 December 2014. Late entries will not be accepted. The winner of the Golden Tickets will be drawn on 15 December 2014 at Qantas Credit Union Arena at 11am, selected at random.

Results of the drawing of the Raffle ticket will be published in the Daily Telegraph as well as Redkite and Qantas Credit Union Arena websites. The winner will be notified via email and telephone within two days of the Raffle being draw and will be offered the opportunity to participate in PR related to the Raffle draw. In the event that the winner is unable to be contacted using all methods of communication after the 3 months from the date of the raffle draw, Liquor Gaming and Racing regulations state the tickets will need to be sold. Details of this will be announced if required.

11. Where does the money from ticket sales go?

Funds raised from the Golden Ticket Raffle will go towards Redkite’s Music Therapy Program. Music therapy provides children and young people with an enjoyable, supportive and creative environment in which they can express themselves, regain a sense of choice and control of their lives and have critical areas of growth and development stimulated. It can also assist in pain management and strengthening a child or young person’s ability to cope with the stress of and its treatment.

Music therapy is the use of music by a tertiary qualified practitioner to improve an individual’s wellbeing. Depending on the capabilities of the patient, activities involve playing music for a person to listen to, teaching an instrument, playing music together, songwriting and performing and recording music together.

Research has shown that music therapy has a positive impact on the confidence, self-esteem and wellbeing of children and young people with illnesses such as cancer.

Redkite funds music therapists in paediatric units and in specific adolescent and young adult treatment centres throughout Australia.

12. Who is Redkite?

Providing essential support to children, young people and their families through cancer has remained Redkite's single focus for 30 years.

Redkite supports children, teenagers and young adults with cancer (up to the age of 24), and their families. Redkite is available with essential support from the moment of diagnosis, throughout treatment and when families return home to the community.

Redkite's support services include financial assistance, emotional support and education assistance. Financial assistance includes grants to help with expenses and financial counselling. Emotional support in hospitals is provided through social workers and music therapists, and support within the community includes telephone and email counseling, bereavement support and family days.

Children, young people and their families from all major cities, regional areas and remote locations across Australia are supported by Redkite. With the continuing support of the community, Redkite aims to further expand our services in order to offer equity of care and support to all Australian children and young people with cancer.

13. What if I win, but can't make it to every event?

Should you, as the winner of the Golden Ticket, be unable to attend any of the events, the two tickets for those shows will be transferrable to family or friends, but cannot under any circumstances be sold.

14. If I win, will I get to choose which night’s performances or games I can attend?

Yes. You will receive tickets to every event, even multiple performances*, so you have the choice of event you want to go to and can transfer the additional tickets to family and friends. You may not transfer the tickets for multiple shows to attend the same performance.

*Please note that whenever there is more than one showing of the same act, tickets to additional performances will be provided subject to the tours ticket allocation to the Arena.

15. What seats will I have?

You will be seated in the Arena’s VIP seats directly facing the stage. However, from time to your seating configuration may change.

16. Can I sell tickets for shows I do not want to attend?

No. Tickets cannot be sold, exchanged for goods or services, or used in any competitions or promotions. Should any tickets breach these terms, or if they are being used inappropriately in any manner whatsoever, all remaining Golden Ticket events will be void (determined at Redkite’s and Qantas Credit Union Arena’s absolute discretion).

17. Is parking for each event included with the Golden Tickets?

Parking is not provided as part of the prize package to attend each of these events, however there are many parking options close to the Arena. Please go to www.qantascreditunionarena.com.au/Venue/Parking to view our parking options.

18. What happens if my Raffle ticket is lost?

Regardless of the method used to purchase your Raffle ticket, if it is lost, please contact the Redkite office on 1800 733 548.

If you purchased your ticket online, Redkite can re-issue your ticket number to you. If you have purchased a hard copy ticket face- to-face, Redkite will cancel the original ticket issued to you (which will not go into the draw), and reissue you with another Raffle ticket.

19. What are the delivery/shipping terms and conditions?

Your Raffle ticket will automatically be sent to you by email once your purchase is confirmed online.

If you purchase your ticket at Qantas Credit Union Arena during a designated event, you will receive a hard copy raffle ticket stub.

Should you purchase your Raffle ticket by calling the Redkite office, your Raffle ticket will be emailed to you directly.

20. What is the refund policy?

Raffle tickets will not be refunded once payment has been received.

21. Privacy notice and data collection

Redkite and Qantas Credit Union Arena respect your right to privacy.

Relevant terms and conditions of entry to Qantas Credit Union Arena will apply to each event for which the Golden Tickets are used.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of .

Redkite and Qantas Credit Union Arena reserve the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule the Raffle.
