minutes). This means that the frequency between Marina, Whitehawk, Manor Hill and Queens Park will reduce from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes.

The 11.24pm journey from Goldstone Valley to Hove George Street will be extended to Whitehawk Bus Garage, offering a new later journey at 11.45pm from Churchill Square to Queens Park and Manor Hill.

On Mondays to Fridays the first 21A eastbound journey from Furze Hill will leave at 9.52am (currently 9.01am). The last eastbound 21A journey from Furze Hill will leave at 4.52pm (currently 6.03pm) on Mondays to Saturdays.

Also, service 23 will no longer serve University of Brighton campus: buses will run direct to the Falmer Station bus stop. The University of Brighton campus will continue to be served by services 25 and N25.

Surveys have shown that there is adequate capacity on one bus for all who wish to travel on these schoolday only journeys, and that the new combined route will cater for all journeys currently being made. On Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays until 10 June, service 77 will run every 45 minutes.

From 11 June until 16 September the daytime service will run every 30 minutes, seven days a week, which is much more frequent than last summer. Brighton & Hove Buses are operating this improved timetable commercially, without council funding. The service will be operated by double-deckers but will not be open-top.

Later evening journeys will continue to be funded by the council and will leave from Devil’s Dyke at 7.35pm and 8.35pm, daily from 11 June to 16 September.

Patcham – Hassocks - will be an earlier first journey into Brighton, arriving Churchill Square at Burgess Hill - Haywards 8.10am, and additional journeys returning from Churchill Square at Heath - 8.22am and 6.20pm.

A new Sunday service will be introduced, with departures from East Grinstead at 9.25am, 11.25am and 2.20pm – returning from Churchill Square at 11.35am, 1.35pm and 4.30pm. As well as an improved frequency between Brighton, Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath, this will offer new Sunday links between Brighton and Lindfield, Horsted Keynes (village and Bluebell Railway), Danehill, Chelwood Gate, Forest Row and East Grinstead. 271 County Hospital - Old Steine Timetable completely revised - and there will be additional journeys on Metrobus 30.04.17 - Preston Circus - Patcham – Mondays to Fridays, departing Crawley 6.39am and departing Royal Hassocks - Burgess Hill - Sussex County Hospital at 5.58am, 8.40am and 4.50pm. There will be a new Saturday service, which will improve the level of service between Royal Sussex County Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital. Departures from Crawley to Brighton are at 8.44am, 10.40am, 12.40pm and 2.40pm. Buses return from Royal Sussex County Hospital to Crawley at 10.50am, 12.50pm, 2.50pm and 4.50pm.
