COMING UP CLUTCH DET F Dylan Larkin has delivered on a number of occasions for DET in 2018-19, as his goal on Dec. 6 marked his 3rd OT winner of the season, which matches the franchise record for overtime tallies in a season, joining Herbie Lewis in 1933-34, Steve Yzerman in 2000-01 and Brendan Shanahan in 2003-04.

Larkin shares the league lead with 3 OT goals this season (with WPG’s Mark Scheifele, CGY’s Johnny Gaudreau and BUF’s ), and since he entered the NHL in 2015-16, he paces all DET skaters with 13 GWGs. The fourth-year pro leads DET with 34 points (15-19-34) in 36 games this season. Along with his 3 OT goals (Nov. 9 vs. NYR, Nov. 17 at NJ, Dec. 6 at TOR) he also scored his 1st career shootout winner on Nov. 6 vs. VAN.

Larkin is on a 9-game point streak. Only 4 DET players in the last 10 years have had a point streak of 10-or-more games: Gustav Nyquist in 2013-14 (10 games), Nicklas Lidstrom in 2010-11 (11 games), Henrik Zetterberg in 2010-11 (11 games) and Pavel Datsyuk in 2010-11 (10 games).
