Jamie Demetriou is one of the UK’s leading comedy actors, writer- performers and character comedians. In 2020, Jamie won three BAFTAs for his series, . The show won the Best Scripted Comedy BAFTA and Jamie personally won the Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme BAFTA and the Best Writer: Comedy BAFTA.

His hit debut series STATH LETS FLATS, which he wrote and in which he stars in as the titular character, has run for two seasons on and received widespread critical acclaim. It will air in the US on HBO Max. The series holds a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

STATH LETS FLATS was nominated for a Broadcast Award for Best Comedy Programme and also received a BAFTA nomination for Best Scripted Comedy. Jamie also received a BAFTA nomination for Best Male Comedy Performance. Jamie was recently nominated for an RTS Award for Best Writer (Comedy) for the series.

Jamie is currently working on various projects, including PARIAHS for the BBC, following a successful set of tasters that were broadcast on iPlayer. Jamie wrote and starred in his own Sky Halloween Comedy Short, OH GOD, in 2016.

As an actor, Jamie Demetriou is set to grace our screens – big and small – in a host of productions this year. On the feature front - Jamie has upcoming roles in ’s EUROVISION with Rachel McAdams and Will Ferrell, Disney’s CRUELLA with Emma Stone, and indie feature LOUIS WAIN with Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy.

Jamie’s upcoming TV roles include a regular role in TBS’ Miracle Workers with Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi and a semi-regular role in Hulu’s THE GREAT with Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult.

Jamie also recently filmed the regular role of Marcus in Hulu's FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL, created by Mindy Kaling and based on Richard Curtis's hit 90s film.

Jamie voiced Moriarty, opposite Johnny Depp’s Sherlock, in Paramount’s animation feature film SHERLOCK GNOMES. He also played the lead villain Mr Ahmad in the Netflix global-release feature GAME OVER, MAN! alongside the team of Anders Holm, Adam Devine and and from producers and Scott Rudin.

Jamie played The Professor in Working Title’s smash hit, , and could be seen in the role of Dimidius in HORRIBLE HISTORIES: THE MOVIE – ROTTEN ROMANS.
