Bullet and Pantera

According to multiple sources, Antonina Shevchenko, older sister of Valentina Shevchenko has signed to fight on ’s contender series this summer.

Antonina “Pantera” Shevchenko is an up and coming fighter signed to compete on Dana White’s contender series in June. Although she is not an MMA star as of now, the 33-year-old fighter is coming fast and should be on the radar of everyone in the flyweight division.

Antonina was born on November 20th, 1984 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Both her and her younger sister Valentina were born in Bishkek, and moved to Peru in 2008 where they started training eager Muay Thai fighters. Both sisters loved the scenery, the training options, and the country of Peru as a whole.

In addition to MMA, both Antonina and Valentina are world class Muay Thai fighters. Antonina has fought over 40 times in her Muay Thai career and is the WMC Muay Thai Female Super Lightweight World Champion, the Lion Fight Muay Thai Champion, and the Phoenix Fighting Championship Muay Thai Champion. Both Valentina and Antonina began martial arts when they were 7 years of age, and have trained under coach Pavel Fedotov since the beginning.

Although up and coming and rather new to the UFC, she is a veteran fighter and has plenty of experience entering the contender series. The records show that her pro MMA record is 5-0, but she claims that not all the fights are shown, and that the real record is 7-0. Either way, she has the experience under her belt, and hasn’t lost a professional MMA fight yet. Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko has already made a name for herself in the UFC, and owns a professional record of 15-3. She has gone 3 and 5 rounds with World Champion MMA fighter Amanda Nunes in 2 fights, and defeated former Bantamweight Champion back in 2016. Now Antonina “Pantera” Shevchenko looks to follow in her sister’s footsteps and become an MMA World Champion.

These team GuardLab athletes wear the Arc-Pro High performance guard for their fights, and both sisters love the product! Antonina has her nickname “Pantera” on the side of her guard, and Valentina also rocks her nickname “The Bullet” on her guard.
