Fresh Produce Fresh Baking

The Senior’s Club has been hosting the Farmer’s Market in Kerrobert for a few years, and in 2018 support has been good. Throughout the summer months, on every second Monday, shoppers have their choice of purchases from a variety of vendors offering locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, skin care & personal care products, clothes, Clothing homemade jams & jellies, and catalogue orders. On Market day, the Senior’s Hall is usually buzzing with people browsing the tables and enjoying the rea- sonably-priced, delicious homemade lunch supplied by members of the Senior’s Club. It is a great way to support neighbours and friends, pick up some quality products, and have a visit while shopping or grabbing a bite to eat.

The regular vendors were joined by a couple new suppliers Beauty Products on August 13th, and all displayed fully stocked tables and are planning on participating again. If you haven’t made it down to the Farmer’s Market yet, you’ve still got a couple chances. There are two more Markets scheduled this sea- son – August 27th and September 10th. Don’t miss your Community partners for over 50 years!
