New Fares of Citybus and NWFB Take Effect on 20 January New fares of Citybus and NWFB take effect on 20 January (14 January 2019, Hong Kong) New fares of Citybus (Franchise for Hong Kong Island and Cross- Harbour Bus Network) (“Citybus Franchise 1”) and New World First Bus (“NWFB”) routes will take effect at 2:30am on 20 January 2019. The fares of Citybus North Lantau and Airport routes will remain unchanged. The new fare tables are now available at NWFB and Citybus website. Passengers can also view the new fares at bus stops and through the mobile application, or call the NWFB customer service hotline 2136 8888 / Citybus customer service hotline 2873 0818 for details. –     Citybus Operates “Shenzhen West Express” Routes B3 and B3X Starting 1 July 2007 （25 June 2007, Hong Kong） To facilitate the launch of the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor, Citybus will operate “Shenzhen West Express” Routes B3 and B3X, which run between Tuen Mun and Shenzhen Bay Port, starting 1 July 2007 (Sunday) at 6pm. The full fare of the Routes is HK$11. Meanwhile, several Octopus fare concessions will be offered, including Bus-Bus Interchange (“BBI”) packages, two-way section fare, Same Day Return Discounts and Holiday $2 Concession Scheme for Senior Citizens. Details are as follows: Route B3 Route B3, which runs via Tuen Mun Pierhead, Butterfly Estate, Lung Mun Oasis, Chi Lok Fa Yuen, Tuen Mun Town Centre, Tai Hing, Siu Hong Court and Shenzhen Bay Port, will operate daily from Tuen Mun Pierhead Public Transport Interchange between 6am and 10:10pm at every 15 to 20 minutes, and from Shenzhen Bay Port between 7am and 0:20am at every 20 minutes. The full fare is HK$11. Route B3X Route B3X, which runs via Tuen Mun Town Centre (near Tuen Mun Park) and Shenzhen Bay Port, will provide express services. The Route will operate daily from Tuen Mun Town Centre between 6:20am and 10:40pm, and from Shenzhen Bay Port between 6:50am and 11:10pm, at every 20 minutes. The full fare is HK$11. Octopus Fare Concessions On the same day, Octopus-paying passengers travelling on Citybus Routes 962, 962B, 962X or X962 can interchange to Route B3 to Shenzhen Bay Port, and a BBI fare concession of HK$1.5 on the second leg will be offered.

Since the setting up of this new dedicated unit, we have been able to conduct more liaison and consultation with relevant parties and stakeholders, and speed up discussions and internal consultation process within the Government.

    Task Force on Harbourfront Developments on Hong Kong Island For discussion TFHK/01/2021 on 17 May 2021 Boardwalk underneath Island Eastern Corridor PURPOSE The purpose of this paper is to brief the Task Force on the latest architectural and landscaping design of the proposed Boardwalk underneath Island Eastern Corridor (IEC) (Boardwalk). The paper will also update the Task Force on the latest progress, works area requirements and proposed management arrangement of the Boardwalk. BACKGROUND 2. The proposed Boardwalk is a major harbourfront enhancement initiative on Hong Kong Island. Successful implementation of the proposed Boardwalk could set a role model for the forth-coming promenade projects, especially those coastal areas which cannot be developed into a promenade due to various reasons. 3. The proposed Boardwalk is approximately 2.2 kilometres (km) long and maintains a width of at least 10 metres (m) wide throughout and comprises a western and eastern section. The western section will run from Oil Street to Tong Shui Road (approximately 0.7 km long), while the eastern section will run from Tin Chiu Street to Hoi Yu Street (approximately 1.1 km long). These two sections will be connected by the North Point Promenade (approximately 0.4 km long). Upon completion, the proposed Boardwalk will connect the existing or planned promenade at Shek Tong Tsui in Western District and Aldrich Bay in Shau Kei Wan, providing a continuous promenade of some 12 km long for public enjoyment. 4. Both the Task Force and the Eastern District Council (EDC) have been closely engaged in the planning of the Boardwalk project over the past few years.
