Cities, regions and countries that host major sporting and cultural events get together to share knowledge and learn from each other’s experiences. This is an unique opportunity to discuss best practice and work collectively to deliver the best possible outcome from hosting major events in an entirely independent environment. By being part of the International Association of Event Hosts, members show their will for achieving more with their events, to use them as catalysts for economic, social and cultural development. It has been a busy and exciting time since our last Annual Forum in Aarhus, in April 2017. The IAEH is now a fully independent and formally incorporated company, further meetings were held, new partnerships established and new members welcomed. Today marks the beginning of our new year with new projects and aspirations. We are delighted to work with all of you and look forward to discussing the IAEH plans for the year ahead. We wish you a highly productive and enjoyable afternoon. IAEH Directors 2 WWW.EVENTHOSTS.ORG MEET OUR DIRECTORS Iain Edmondson Head of Major Events - London & Partners. IAEH Founding Member.
