Knife, Fork and Trowel Meeting November 8, 2016

YOU MISSED OUT if you were in line voting or anywhere else on Tues- day. Gwen Skinner and Terry Kozeluh provided the most delicious center- piece of our meal – Smoked Turkey and Ham. I don’t think our vegetable and salad table has ever been so loaded with dishes from our wonderful cooks. The dessert table is never lacking in goodies. Needless to say, we all enjoyed a bountiful feast.

Due to a family emergency we were not able to have our speaker on Flood Insurance, but he has assured us he will come another time.

We all enjoyed visiting with each other and getting caught up on news of all the activities on the lake. We are so thankful to live in such an active and caring community. Our donation box of non-perishable food items was overflowing with items for The Samaritan House in Tatum. We will be bring- ing more food items for them again to our December 13th meeting.

Our guests and hopefully new members were Angela Daughtry, Roxanne Nov 1st - Colin Brady, still wakeboarding on beautiful Lake Cherokee! Brink, James & Holly Treadway and Stephen & Romnie Scott. Lucky door- prize winners were Susan Deeds and John Harris.

Our December meeting will feature Soups, Vegetable/Fruit Plates, Corn- bread and of course, Desserts. Also, we are asking anyone wanting to partici- pate in our Toy Drive to bring an unwrapped gift for a boy or girl. We will do Randy’s Mobile Power Wash this in partnership with the Fishing Club. House Boathouse Maintenance Repair

Everyone that lives on Lake Cherokee is encouraged to come to Knife, Fork and Trowel. We meet the second Tuesday of each month (exception – no meeting in January) from September through May. We meet downstairs at the Randy Neeley CWC office from 6:00 to approximately 7:30. We eat, visit, have programs (903) 576-5519 and get to know our fellow residents. If you are interested in coming or want to be put on our call list, please call Betty Heim at 903-643-7535. [email protected]
