Western Australia now holds a one-win advantage over rivals South Australia after claiming a 45-point victory in the State How WA lined up clash last Saturday. Going into the battle for the Haydn Bunton Cup, the States had each won 46 times in their encounters since 1904, but under the guidance of debutant State coach Darren Harris, WA broke the deadlock with a 18.13 (121) to 11.10 (76) victory.
