There was no reason for this." An estimated 200 people filled out credit card applications with their address, phone number, stu- dent ID number and social securi- ty number and had their ID scanned before campus police asked the company to leave. The company was not issued to be on campus that day. However, no one stopped them for over eight hours, until Singer came along, "That information can be used for anything," Singer said.
