How can this minaret stand against to erosion of Rivers and spring floods around more than 8th century without any fundamental protection? The main aim of this research paper is focused on “danger of falling Minaret of Jam”, here are many threats being for destroying of Jam-Minaret. antiquities of these historically places trafficked by smugglers, but these threats also being against to Jam-Minaret, the Minaret of Jam almost falling by floods in spring of 2019, but fortunately this threat just temporarily resolved by local people. One of the goals of this research topic is to call to government of Afghanistan and organizations of responsible to rescue the minaret of Jam from destruction, therefore if they don’t pay attention, this historical minaret will demolish like other historical heritage in Afghanistan and we will be missing one of the “Seven Wonders of the World”. -

It was located near overland trade routes and links to the ports on the Arabian Sea and consequently its art incorporated Indian, Persian and Greco- Roman styles. The latter style, brought to Central Asia by Alexander the Great (327/26–325/24 BCE) during his conquest of the region, particularly influenced the art of Gandhara. This stylistic influence is evident in facial features, curly hair and classical style costumes seen in images of the Buddha and bodhisattvas that recall sculptures of Apollo, Athena and other GaecoRoman gods. A second-century CE statue carved in gray schist, a local stone, shows the Buddha, with halo, ushnisha, urna, dressed in a monk’s robe, seated in a cross-legged yogic posture similar to that of the male figure with horned headdress on the Indus seal. -

Email: [email protected] ABSTRACT Buddhist culture prevailed during the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. In this turbulent historical period, the ruling class was keen on carving Buddha statues. This religion originated from India began to develop in China. Through the interpretation of Buddhist sculptures of the Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, it is found that its artistic quality is not limited by the factors of Buddhism, and is integrated with real life, which embodies the humanities of Buddhism. At the same time, Chinese sculpture art has also entered a new way of development. It is an important manifestation of the sinicization of Buddhist sculpture art, and it is also a testament to the culture of the Central Plains. This thesis focuses on the study of the humanities and artistry of Buddhist sculptures in the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. Women and History Though the novels concerned are not historical in the strict sense of the word, the title of the thesis demands a parallel study of literary (the novels) and non-literary (the history of the country) texts.
