The series details the development of the science of astronomy from hunter-gatherers to Edwin Hubble.

Green Book: Guide to Freedom, Impossible Factual Producer Critically acclaimed 60-minute US civil rights documentary for Smithsonian Channel telling the true story of behind the Negro Motorist Green Book. I conceived of the original idea and produced the film alongside award-winning African American director Yoruba Richen

The Woman in the Iron Coffin, Impossible Factual Producer/Director 60-minute documentary for PBS strand Secrets of the Dead, telling the story of a single African-American woman whose life and death in mid 19th Century America provides a gateway to a wider history. I wrote and directed the film, for which we were the first crew ever to be granted access to film in a NYC morgue.

Murderers and Their Mothers, Emporium Productions Series Producer/Director (Self-Shooting) 5 x 60-minute series for CBS Reality. True crime documentary series presented by investigative journalist Donal Macintyre, delving into the psychology of some of the UK’s most notorious murders. I wrote, directed and self-shot all five episodes for the series.

James Nesbitt’s Disasters That Changed Britain, Liberty Bell Productions Producer/Director 6 x 60-minute series for History Channel, presented by James Nesbitt, telling the story of 6 of the most epoch- defining disasters in the last 6 decades of British history. I wrote the episode dealing with the shocking events of the Grenfell Tower fire and directed interviews with survivors, witnesses, whistle-blowers and experts.

How Do They Do It? Wag TV Producer/Director (Self Shooting) 20 x 30-minute series for Discovery and Science Channel. This long-running programme is one of the world’s best-known and highest-rating pop-science and engineering shows. I directed, shot and edit produced 15 x 8-12 minute stories from 3 different countries.

Building the Ancient City: Rome, Brave New Media 2nd Unit Producer/Director (Self Shooting) 2 x 60-minute history documentary for BBC TWO, presented by Andrew Wallace-Hadrill. This short series looks at the way in which the ancient cities of Athens and Rome worked on a day-to-day basis. I was self- shooting director of a second unit, working with the presenter and contributors, as well as shooting GVs for the second film of the series.

Venezia Pronto Intervento, Lion Television Edit Producer & 2nd unit Producer/Director 6 x 30-minute high profile observational documentary series for National Geographic Italy, National Geographic US and BBC FOUR. This special access series follows Venice’s emergency services and key institutions as they cope with the incredible challenges of the biggest events in the city’s calendar. I directed the second unit filming with the police, ambulance and fire service and was also sole edit producer for all 6 episodes of the Italian series.

EDIT PRODUCER The Architecture the Railways Built, Brown Bob Productions 10 x 60-minute series for Yesterday. I cut stories across the series and compiled 3 full episodes.

The Real Jesus of Nazareth, Impossible Factual 4 x 60-minute series for Smithsonian Channel. Landmark history and archaeology series presented by Robert Powell to mark the 40th anniversary of his portrayal of Jesus in Franco Zeffirelli’s iconic miniseries. I edit produced 2 of 4 episodes, including the final episode of the series, and directed VO record with Hollywood actor Judd Hirsch.

World War Two Treasure Hunters, Emporium Productions 8 x 60-minute series for History Channel. Co-presenters Suggs and Stephen Taylor scour Britain for relics that tell the fascinating hidden story of WW2 on the Home Front. I was lead edit producer, cutting two episodes and setting the tone for the series.

Click for Murder, Emporium Productions 10 x 60-minute series for Netflix and CBS Reality. True crime documentary series presented by Donal MacIntyre exploring the role of social media in some of the UK’s most notorious murders of recent years. I edit produced 4 of 10 episodes.

Chinese New Year 2016: The Biggest Celebration on Earth, Lion Television 3 x 60-minute series for BBC TWO. Innovative and pioneering short series showcasing China’s most extravagant and exciting New Year celebrations. I cut fast-turnaround stories across two episodes, oversaw VO recording and final edit for one full episode.

Fossil Wonderlands: Nature’s Hidden Treasures, Lion Television 3 x 60-minute palaeontology series for BBC FOUR exploring some of the world’s most spectacular fossil super- sites; presented by Prof. Richard Fortey. I edit produced the final episode of the series.
