• 2019 Objectives & Plan: • 2019 marks the second season with Coach Tony Vitello at the helm of the Vols and includes 36 home dates including 15 dates against SEC opponents. Home schedule includes games against three teams in the Top 40 Pre-Season poll. • Season ticket renewal information was emailed on Nov. 1 with a deadline to renew by Nov. 30.

• On sale date for season tickets for public is Dec. 11.

• NEW in 2019 - Big Orange Fridays – Starting with Opening Day and then picking back up for SEC play, each Friday will be a ‘Big Orange Friday’ game. Fans will be directed to the Big Orange Friday website (BigOrangeFriday.com) where they can download a voucher good for buy one general admission ticket and get one free (BOGO). • NEW in 2019 – Beginning with SEC Saturday games, fans will be able to purchase a ‘Family Four Pack’ online that include four general admission tickets, four hot dogs and four drinks for $40. This proposal creates a savings of $16 for a family of four. • NEW in 2019 – Bingo Saturday. SEC Saturday games will feature bingo. Fans can play along throughout the game with squares being checked off based on Tennessee Vol defensive plays or at- bat. One Grand Prize for winner with first correct Bingo card and then next four winners receive a smaller prize. Grand Prize package includes: • Baseball t-shirt • $25 VolShop Gift Card • Bag of Roadhouse Peanuts • 2 tickets for a future game • Signed baseball • Other items TBD • NEW in 2019 – Picnic on the Patio (Thursday, May 16th vs Ole Miss). With this date being the only Thursday game scheduled, it allows the Fan Experience dept. to attempt a buffet style food experience on the Patios. Pricing and menu to be created at a later date. Will work with Aramark to create menu along the lines of the Mother’s Day Brunch that has been done in past. • NEW in 2019 - Kids’ Day w/ Kids’ Combo available to purchase at concessions – the final game of each weekend will be Kids’ Day with all kid’s 12 and under receiving free admission. Kids’ Combo will contain and corndog, bag of chips and drink specially priced at $6 for kids 12 and under. • $2 Tuesdays – Fan-favorite initiative returns, every Tuesday game will be designated a “$2 Tuesday” game with GA tickets priced at $2 and a different concession item at each Tuesday game priced at same $2 through 4th . • Winsdays -- The two Wednesday games on the schedule are currently slated for Winsdays and will feature opportunities for fans to win prizes and include $2 admission.

• Pre-Season Activities & Events: • First Pitch Banquet – January 19th @ 6:30 pm Knoxville Convention Center. Building off the success of the banquet from 2018, the 2019 banquet will move to the Knoxville Convention Center and feature guest speaker, former Vol and current L.A. Dodger Pitching Coach, Rick Honeycutt.

• Visit by team to men’s basketball game (Jan. 15). Players and coaches introduced at designated timeout with players passing out schedule cards and/ or 2-for-1 ticket office for game (TBD). • ‘Meet the Team’ event tentatively scheduled for Feb. 9th at . Event will follow an open practice. Fans will be able to tour facility, get autographs with players and coaches and include an opportunity for youth to take practice in batting cages. IMGL would be present to help fans choose seat locations for the 2019 season. • Appearance by Coach Vitello to appear on Vol Calls radio show (TBD). • Poster, schedule card, stadium schedule and billboards to promote 2019 season. Design will begin in January on these pieces.

• In-Season Events: • NEW in 2019 - Baseball Luncheons – Four dates selected for 2019 and are scheduled on Mondays this season. Held at different locations on campus including Baseball MVP room, Ray Mears room at Thompson-Boling Arena and Lauricella Room at from Noon – 1pm. Lunch will be $5 for non-season ticket holders and free for baseball season ticket holders. Non-season ticket holders will get a voucher for free general admission to a baseball game for the upcoming weekend series. Lunches will once again be provided by Moe’s for up to 50 guests. All general admission tickets will be just $2 and a select menu item on each date will be $2 through the 4th inning of game. • Tuesday games will also feature trivia throughout the games. Prizes can be won by fans for accurately answering trivia questions. 2019

• Wednesday home games will be ‘Winsdays’. Fans will be able to ‘WIN’ prizes throughout games played on Wednesday’s. Tickets for all Wednesday games will be just $2.

• Targeted Groups & Organizations • Dads & Daughters Days (TBD). Reach out to UT sororities to plan annual Dads & Daughters dates at baseball. Sororities generally pick a date after spring break (Late March/ early April). Group rate tickets are sold for dads, while students are admitted free. • Little League Weekend (May 3-5). Reach out to local Little Leagues with free admission opportunity with flier or jersey. Pre-determined number of kids participate in Smokey’s Lineup. • Local Baseball academies and youth leagues – Generally start-up dates for little leagues in surrounding areas is mid-April. Groups to target include: • Knox County and City Little League • Knox Youth Sports • Farragut Baseball • Karns Baseball • Rocky Hill Baseball • West Knox County Baseball • Maryville Little League Baseball • Knoxville Baseball • RBI Baseball • Diamond Baseball Academy • Local Travel Teams • Cal Ripken Experience in Sevierville • Started to reach out to retirement facilities in 2018 with some success. Start contacting these groups earlier in the new year so that they may schedule. Some were interested last year, but had already committed to attending a Smokies baseball game. • High School Night (May 16). Reach out to high school baseball teams and offer free admission for players and coaches when a roster is submitted in advance. • Nurses Night/Teacher Appreciation (May 7). Both of these appreciations fall in same week of the Austin Peay game. Reach out to all local hospitals and doctor offices to offer free admission for all nurses (with I.D.). Contact local school districts and UT to offer free admission for all teachers. Opportunity for one nurse and one teacher to throw out first pitch.

New turf will also allow for some additional on-field promotions or for promotions like Wiener Dog Races to occur closer to seating. • To keep fans up to date on weather delays or cancellations and ticket promotions, fans can call the baseball hot line at 865.974.5555. Hot line will be updated continuously throughout the season and as needed during weather delays. • The use of the Text Alert system will also help deliver key weather information before games and during games. • Look to add a Inning promotion for 2019 with a sponsor tie-in. • Cold Weather promotions: . Fans can ‘Tweet for Heat’ and Fan Experience staff will supply fans with hand warmers. • Smokey’s Lineup – Kids from little league teams or other youth organizations can participate in Smokey’s Lineup where they have the opportunity to take the field with the Vols for the National Anthem. 2019

. “Play Ball” kid. At each game, a young boy or girl is chosen to say the most famous words in baseball, “Play Ball!” over the pa mic. . Jr. Vol Voice of the Game. On Kids’ Days, during a designated inning, a child is chosen to be the guest pa announcer - announcing player at-bats, and / or position changes. . Jr. Groundskeeper. At the end of the 6th Inning, two kids are led onto the field to “Rake that Dirt” at first and third base.

. K’s for Queso. When Vol pitchers 10 batters, fans can redeem their ticket in the next 24 hours at Moe’s for a free cup of queso. Students can pick-up a voucher to redeem for queso. Banner is hung on railing near the HQ Table to keep track of during game. . T-shirts tosses . On Kids’ Days, all kids can circle the bases one time before heading to the to collect autographs from select Vol players. This year a Kids’ Combo meal will be introduced for all kids 12 and under. With the installation of field turf, activities on the field after the games should not be have to be cancelled.
