Imagine a young mother whose husband has been called into action. Imagine the intense anxiety and worry coupled with a now in- creased burden of looking after a home without a partner's support. We can make a difference in the lives of hundreds of young mothers, parents, siblings, and children who are in that situation.

Here is the description of the campaign that we are supporting, from some friends at Yerushalmim, (http://yerushalmim.info/eng/) a new group in Jerusalem that seeks to make Jerusalem a better place for all. “We believe that in times of crisis supporting and strengthening the local community is the way that we can help keep some sense of normalcy in their lives as they anxiously wait for news of their loved ones. Our operation includes sending volunteers to families for help at home with children, meals, packing apartments, walking dogs or anything else that will help these families deal with their traumatic reality. “

To show that our hearts are with our brothers and sisters in Israel, please consider supporting this along with other worthy initia- tives happening now. Visit www.thebayit.org/irondome for more information and to support this worthy cause.
