Jewellery / Nail Varnish

 For health and safety reasons the wearing of jewellery is not permitted in school except for a wristwatch.  Please remember that your child should not be wearing earrings and nail varnish as they are not part of our school uniform.  If children come into school wearing either earrings or nail varnish they will be asked to remove them by the next day.

Hair

 The school does not permit children to have extreme haircuts that could serve as a distraction to other children and are not in keeping with the ethos of the school. This includes patterns shaved into the hair, excessive use of hair products, false and extreme hair colours. The definition of an extreme hairstyle is at the discretion of the Headteacher. The Headteacher will speak with parents/carers of any children with inappropriate haircuts and a request will be made to change their haircut immediately.

At the moment, the main issue does seem to be with the boys’ haircuts. As a general rule can we please ask that the hair is of a similar length all over and not shaved down the sides.
