  • Green Book Sur Les Routes Du Sud

  • Adding Support for Jamendo and Magnatune to Rhythmbox on Linux
Walking in Light with Christ - Faith, Computing, Diary Articles & tips and tricks on GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Windows, mobile phone articles, religious related texts http://www.pc-freak.net/blog Adding support for Jamendo and Magnatune to Rhythmbox on Linux Author : admin I'm using rhythmbox to play music on my Debian Linux. Rhythmbox is a good substitute for both audacious and xmms. XMMS is already very obsolete and it often crashes because of some of it's plugins. On the other hand audacious is sometimes having problems on my notebook working with it's alsa plugin or pulseaudio especially if I play something in youtube. With audacious my songs sometimes got stucked for some weird reason. With rhythmbox I have never experienced this kind of issues. Considering the fact that I'm a GNOME user rhythmbox is even more attractive for me. During about 2 years ago I've heard about the Jamendo - community of free, legal and unlimited music published under the Creative Commons licenses. Just about 10 months ago I've also discovered magnatune which is also a radio which allows free listening online of it's whole online catalogue. That's why it was really interesting for me to have this two nice music streaming services directly into my rhythmbox. I was very happy to discover that already a plugin that embeds the Jamendo and Magnatune Support to the Rhytmbox program. To enable Rhythmbox to support Magnatune and Jamendo type in your root terminal: debian:~# apt-get install gmpc-plugins gmpc-plugins-dbg debian:~# apt-get rhythmbox-plugins It's very likely that the rhythmbox-plugins might be already installed on your Linux, anyways I put the command above just in case if for some reason it's not installed.

  • How Can I Download a Torrent
how can i download a torrent How To Download Torrent Files From Torrent Sites? Lately, if you have been hanging out with tech-savvy people, then you are bound to hear terms like BitTorrent , Torrenting Websites , and Torrent Clients . The primary reason behind the drastic increment in the popularity of Torrent files is that these files can be used to download Movies , Music , Books , Games , and Software for free. As you might have guessed by the title, this article is dedicated to new torrent users, and it will guide them to download their first torrent file. On the other hand, If you are a veteran reader of Techworm, then this guide won’t reveal any new information for you. However, you can contribute to the community by leaving a comment. What Is A Torrents? In simple terminology, Torrent is a file that stores metadata, and programs like uTorrent can use this meta info to download all sorts of content. A torrent file generally comes with the extension .torrent , and it’s hardly a few KB in size. In many instances, Torrent and BitTorrent are used synonymously. However, they are not the same. In reality, BitTorrent is a peer to peer (P2P) file-sharing protocol that relies on a swarm-like approach for sharing files. A seeder in torrent terminology is a person who is sharing the file; the more seeds, the more potential locations to download the file. While a person who is downloading the seeded file is a leech , if the number of leeches exceeds the number of seeds, it will make the file download slower, as more people are accessing the data at the same time.

Nouse Web Archives Review: 22 Jump Street Page 1 of 3 News Comment MUSE. Politics Business Science Sport Roses Freshers Muse › Film & TV › Features Film Reviews TV Reviews Festivals Review: 22 Jump Street Delivering more action, more gags and more homoeroticism makes this sequel as funny as the first. Kate Barlow reviews Sunday 22 June 2014 Director: Phil Lord, Christopher Miller Starring: Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube Running time: 112 minutes Rating: ★★★★☆ One of the most endearing features of a comedy is an ability to take the piss out of itself. 22 Jump Street certainly isn’t lacking in this quality. Its prequel didn’t hold back in mocking its own origins in TV, and now the next instalment mocks itself for being a sequel. Twists are made on the original humour: high school is now college, Korean Jesus is now Vietnamese and the drugs are now much harder to find. While these frequent throwbacks do begin to get a little tiring, the plot soon builds up and the film begins to find a voice of its own. The problem with endlessly referencing 21 Jump Street is that it makes it hard not to compare the two films, and in this scenario the second offering inevitably comes up short. 22 Jump Street returns to the college popularity stereotypes the first film so successfully and originally fought against, seeing Jonah Hill’s Schmidt return as bumbling cop and social reject, and Channing Tatum’s Jenko rise to be football jock and cop hero, emerging as a sort of hench Spider-Man.

  • Who's Dumb? Who's Dumber? Beck Or Yates?
Who's dumb? Who's dumber? Beck or Yates? Marty Trillhaase/Lewiston Tribune Not since Jim Carrey hooked up with Jeff Daniels have we seen a pairing quite like Bonneville County Republican Party Chairman Doyle Beck and state GOP Chairman Steve Yates. As in, you know, "Dumb and Dumber." First there's dumb: Beck has accused Yates and several other eastern Idaho Republicans of creating a "secret society" with the aim of ousting him from the local GOP chairmanship. Beck wanted to compel Yates and the others to answer questions under oath about a three-page outline titled "The Idaho Prosperity Project," which talked about raising $100,800 and spending it to "change the balance of power in Idaho politics to favor a stable, constructive majority." Had senior 7th District Judge Richard St. Clair last week not wisely blocked those attempts, it would have transformed a law meant to preserve the testimony of gravely ill witnesses into a political weapon and undermined the First Amendment. So Beck came up with Plan B - releasing a 39-minute videotape he surreptitiously recorded of his Nov. 22 conversation with Yates. Legal? Yes. Creepy? Definitely. But how weird is it to have Beck - who accuses other people of engaging in untoward clandestine behavior - going one better in the skulduggery department? And where's the smoking gun? Stick with this for 39 minutes and all you wind up with is a water pistol. Throughout their Q&A, Yates sounds like he may know some details of the insurrection against Beck and his supporters. Then Beck bores in on the key question: "But you're not a part of it." Yates: "I'm not.

  • Huya (HUYA): Winner Takes All
JAGUAR MEDIA AUG 3RD, 2020 UPDATED AUG 6TH, 2020 (see end of research note) “CHINESE TECH DEMYSTIFIED” SERIES – EPISODE 2 DouYu (DOYU) & Huya (HUYA): Winner Takes All Often referred to as China’s Twitch equivalents, DouYu and Huya are the providers of China’s biggest game livestreaming platforms. In Chinese, DouYu means “fighting fish”, while Huya is a nonsensical phrase where “Hu” means “tiger” and “ya” means “tooth”. Hence why the latter’s logo is a tiger with teeth. As a company, Huya was a late-2014 spinoff from JOYY (previously known as YY), with the latter as the new entity’s biggest shareholder. However, in 2018, Tencent acquired a 35% stake in Huya with an option to boost its control to 50.1% within the period March 8th, 2020 and March 8th, 2021. Then in April 2020, Tencent proceeded to exercise that option, effectively becoming Huya’s biggest controlling shareholder as JOYY's stake was reduced to 43% from 56%. Meanwhile, DouYu began as a livestreaming sub-segment of AcFun, a video hosting platform geared towards animation and games.
