BIOGRAPHY
In 2016, ABBA GOLD are celebrating their 23 year anniversary. During these 23 years, they have performed over 3,500 shows, playing to nearly 3 million people worldwide. Their attention to detail has made them one of the most successful tribute bands of all time. The costumes are faithfully recreated for the authentic ABBA look and the original ABBA recordings have been endlessly studied in the studio to genuinely recreate that special ABBA sound. ABBA GOLD use only the finest artists and musicians to really make every performance special for the audience, just as if they were seeing the real ABBA onstage.
They perform up to a 10 piece live band with the 4 main ABBA artists, drums, bass, lead guitar, saxophone and 2 backing vocalists.

ABBA GOLD have been lucky enough to play all over the world. This includes every country in Europe, all over the UAE and Asia, South Africa and Canada.
They have played in front of members of Great Britain’s Royal Family, including Princess Margaret and Princess Anne.
ABBA GOLD’S largest audience was during their 2001 tour, where they played to 93,000 people in Aberdeen, Scotland. This was at a massive open-air festival where they headlined over several chart acts.
ABBA GOLD have had 2 different Eurovision Song Contest Winners as their support acts. These were 1981 winners Bucks Fizz and 1976 winners Brotherhood of Man.
ABBA GOLD have appeared on stage with Atomic Kitten, Liberty X, The Sugababes, Slade, Sweet, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, The Tremeloes, Dr. and the Medics, Gareth Gates, Hear’say and Darius.
They also completed a 2 year tour with Bucks Fizz and Boney M as their support acts.
